Decluttering & Organising in Norfolk and Online

David’s Kitchen

I worked with David for several months as his home had become unsafe due to hoarding behaviours and complex health problems. He could no longer access the kitchen to prepare meals, which was having an impact on his health and well-being.

How I helped:

  • Cleared floor space to make room to sort
  • Removed all rubbish and out-of-date food items.
  • Reorganised storage of cooking equipment and food, making items easily accessible.
  • Created clear, organised work surfaces.
  • Advised on simple daily routines to keep on top of tasks.
  • Created a daily/weekly schedule.

What David said:

”I love being able to use my kitchen again to prepare meals. I’ve started to cook again because I can find what I need and all the rubbish has gone. Thank you so much for all your help.”
