You want help to get organised…but the thought of having a stranger in your home doesn’t appeal. I get it…and I’m not feeling put out by it either. I know from many years experience as a Professional Organiser that this is a fairly common dilemma.

Thankfully there is an alternative in the form of Simply Declutter, my online programme, which has been designed for people just like this. It includes regular one to one sessions to help you take action and reach your organising goals. In fact, there are many reasons why my Simply Declutter Programme may suit you better than in-home support. Here are a few of them:

You are an introvert

If you lean towards the introversion side of the personality scale, you may find it hard to consider working in-home with an Organiser, particularly if the thought of making small talk for several hours at a time makes your stomach churn. Working online with me avoids this social pressure. Sessions are short – 30 minutes maximum – and focused on the task at hand. Whether it’s creating a clear plan, working on mindset, establishing good routines or practical decluttering, the time will be spent purposefully, removing the worry of having to make social chit-chat.

Your home is messy

Well yes of course it is….that’s why you are thinking of working with me in the first place. I would expect your home to be messy…very messy! But this can be a real stumbling block for some people. You don’t want others to see the chaos, so having someone in your home is a no-no. Simply Declutter solves this problem perfectly. Because we are working together via a screen, you have complete control over what I can see. If you don’t want me to see your messy kitchen you can turn the screen to face any area of your choice. You are in complete control.

Action is a great builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear.

You can’t afford in-home organising

You may not have the budget for in-home support, especially in these financially pressured times. My online programme is my most affordable service, because although sessions are weekly, they are much shorter. With agreed tasks to keep you progressing between sessions, it’s a very effective way to get and stay organised. The complete programme, which also includes a Decluttering Guide and additional monthly support by email, costs less than the price of a daily take out coffee!

You need accountability

The magical ingredient in sticking to something is having someone else to hold us accountable…and that person could be me! Shorter, regular one to one sessions are a great way to get stuff done and keep you moving forward…even when you’re not in the mood for it. Instead of feeling overwhelmed or confused about where to start, you will have a step by step plan and my ongoing, unwavering support. I will be with you all the way – giving advice, helping you make good decisions and helping you make the very best use of the time available. And if you miss a session, I will gently follow up with you to help you stay on track.

You’re time poor

One of the greatest barriers to decluttering is time – or lack of it. The irony is that although getting organised would greatly enhance our lives, saving us huge amounts of time in the long run, it’s often pushed to the background, remaining forever on our to-do list. But Simply Declutter has been designed for people who don’t have the luxury of lots of spare time. It gives you the goods succinctly, gets you started straight away and takes only 30 minutes per week.

If any of this resonates with you, it’s the perfect time to take action. If you are an introvert, ashamed of your messy home, need ongoing accountability, have limited finances or you’re simply time poor, my online programme Simply Declutter, is the solution you’ve been looking for.
